What you'll be doing

Senior Software Developer Analyst delivers solutions that are competitive with the next generation of web applications. Design, develop, implement, maintain and enhances distributed software systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy while meeting business needs. Lead purchase and integration efforts. Work with stakeholders to understand business. Essential Functions Develop new applications and revise existing systems using complex systems analysis and advance programming techniques. Work with stakeholders to purchase and implement software solutions. Collaborate with others to deliver sophisticated software solutions. Lead technical projects using formal project management practices, providing regular schedule, milestone and implementation updates. Develop, maintain and follow standards for quality assurance and testing all aspects of software including accuracy, features, security, usability and accessibility. Consult with internal clients and outside departments on technical issues that affect operations and various user groups internal and external to campus. Determine business requirements and system objectives; investigate available hardware/software configurations and capabilities. Able to make thoughtful decisions with difficult choices or ambiguous information. Able to make recommendations understandable to stakeholders. Study new technologies to recommend and implement system upgrades, including third party software packages. Develop industry-leading technical skills. Marginal/Incidental functions Other related functions as assigned.

What your background should be

Required qualifications one or more years of demonstrated strength in development. Poses and apply comprehensive knowledge of business application programming and analysis. Four or more years experience successfully delivering complex web applications. Demonstrated ability to analyze, test and debug complex code. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively, in a team oriented environment. Considerable experience in systems design, analysis and programming. Willing to share technical knowledge. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. A list of 3 references and a letter of interest is required in order to apply.
