Language Teacher

What you'll be doing: The language teacher will be assumed the primary role for the implementation of the educational program for the grades, subjects, and students assigned. Implement the prescribed curriculum and assist in the continuous development, evaluation and revision of the curriculum. Develop, prepare, and implement meaningful lessons. Evaluate and report student progress as required and appropriate. Conduct teacher/student and teacher/parent meetings as necessary and appropriate. Assume responsibility for the appropriate discipline of all students within sight or hearing on school premises or at school-sponsored activities. Serve as a positive role model and as a counselor for students. Administer the school-wide student assessment instrument to assigned students. Participate cooperatively in staff and committee meetings. Prepare and submit reports as required. Adhere to applicable statutes, policies, regulations, and directives. Perform other duties as assigned.
