What you'll be doing
- This role will be responsible for requirements analysis, documentation, testing, stakeholder management, overall project management, and the communication plan. Manage user work sessions to document the business requirements and functional specifications, face off with global IT developers translating specifications to design, documenting high-level system architecture and data flows, and assessing feasibility, co-manage project plan with the IT lead developer. Ensure timeframes are estimated accurately, issues and risks are tracked, and slippage is mitigated with the goal of meeting deadlines and delivering quality solutions. Manage stakeholders through the project life cycle, including issues resolution meetings, requirements prioritization and change control procedures, execute QA testing and manage the defect/resolution process with the IT lead developer, coordinate the UAT planning and execution process documenting test plans/scripts, manage user training, organize the defects/resolution process, and ensure formal user sign off.
What your background should be
- 5 to 10 years PM/BA experience with at least 5 years in Finance, preferably treasury or regulatory group. Knowledge of and experience with the finance products, ability to articulate all phases of SDLC and associated deliverables, understanding of SDLC best practices and controls, specifically business process analysis, requirements engineering, testing, stakeholder management, and project management, previous work on regulatory projects or project experience with relevant components preferred, capital markets experience and an understanding of equities and fixed income products, accounting background or experience with accounting systems. Must be a self starter and team player with the ability to influence and drive teams toward solutions in a productive manner, written and verbal communication skills are essential to success in this role.
