What you'll be doing

The Senior Business and Planning Strategy Consultant will collaborate with management in the development of metrics and reports that support business objectives and results. Participate in business planning, operational and expense management reporting, and benchmarking and performance measurement. Work with leaders and associates at all levels to develop and execute communications and campaigns to drive global operations business objectives. Primary activities include writing, editing and coordinating a broad range of messaging to use in a variety of vehicles. Research, write and edit a wide range of high profile, reader friendly messages in various formats including emails, articles, videos, presentations, reports etc. Oversee assigned units budget and expense functions including: development and submission of operational budget; development of monthly expense reports; analysis of budget variances; preparation of financial forecasts; research and implementation of cost savings measures and presentation of recommendations to management. Assist in the development and measurement of business planning activities, develop and refine internal benchmarks including unit costs, initiate action with management to develop an informational framework to support process analysis and re-engineering activities. Develop and implement effective communications and information sharing data warehouse using appropriate technologies.

What your background should be

8+ years of experience in financial services industry or insurance operations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with complete ownership of communications strategies as they relate to this role must be needed. Highly organized, able to wear multiple hats, and accomplish a multitude of tasks in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment with a self-motivated drive to accomplish. Strong organizing leadership skills is also required.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree or equivalent business experience.
