What you'll be doing

The Job Developer conducts self in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance that enhances the company reputation. The incumbent must be able to work effectively as a team member and able to speak effectively to various sized groups. Assist and motivate Career Development Center and Department of Human Service clients, using guided choice strategies to find appropriate employment with job leads. Responsible for coordinating services and maintaining effective communication with company staff that or case managing clients referred for services. Required to research, keep updated by reading trade journals as needed to be aware of trends, theories or initiatives within the employment/job placement industry. Able to work independently, cooperatively and to exercise effective planning. Maintain accurate records of client participation and jobs obtained, utilizing direct contacts, CBMS, collateral contacts and other means to obtain information. While maintaining current knowledge and awareness of labor trends, the Job Developer will demonstrate a higher level of understanding and have the ability to report discrepancies and areas of emphasis needed.

What your background should be

Four years work experience in the same or related field will be considered. A valid Colorado Driving license without a history of violations is required; Criminal background check and pre employment drug screen required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills previous supervisory experience. Must be flexible and professional at all times.
