What you'll be doing
- The Enterprise (PACS) Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the PACS system, which includes monitoring and troubleshooting issues in image work flow, archiving, routing and data integrity. He/she supports all PACS users including managers, supervisors, radiologists, cardiologists, staff and other imaging customers to ensure optimum functionality, availability, system responsiveness, and integrity of both on line and archived data for the PACS. Ensures new installations will integrate with the current application and data technical environment. Develops complex reports, scripts and forms according to required specifications. Ensures business and system processes and procedures are documented with industry standard process flow and flow charting techniques.
What your background should be
- Three years experience in PACS administration and DICOM interfaces preferably with Radiology, Cardiology or other technical clinical systems experience.
Required Schooling / Training
- Associate degree from an accredited institution in a related field; Bachelor degree preferred or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
