What you'll be doing

Inspection of all syringes, cartridges, assemblies and components using manual or automated systems/procedures. Strict adherence to all batch record instructions, SOP, cGMP and all applicable departmental procedures. Qualify on manual and automated inspection systems. Visually inspect units for defects. Weight checks basic units for correct fill volume. Maintain proper accountability records (i.e. tally sheets, label preparation, batch record information, etc.). Perform appropriate departmental housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, orderly and safe work environment. The employee must wear all required safety equipment and perform assigned work in a safe manner. Employee must use proper lifting techniques and be conscious of hazards around them. Other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Required 1 year manufacturing / packaging work experience or veterans/military experience. Understand basic math and reading comprehension; minimal training/experience; unskilled work; detailed instructions. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. While performing the duties of this job, the candidate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The candidate is required to stand and walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The candidate must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma / general education degree (GED) or an Associate degree preferred.
