What you'll be doing

The selected candidate will work out of a home-office and will be charged with driving demand for capital and rental TSS products while executing profitable business strategies to achieve financial and strategic goals within the acute care vertical. Call on and qualify critical care clinicians, nursing directors, hospital administrators, purchasing and other call-points; arrange appointments, equipment demonstrations and sale closures. Conduct thorough training and in-service of TSS products. Develop and maintain current information regarding customers, market conditions, sales potentials and competition activity within assigned. Perform all other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Must have at least two (2) years of recent and successful hospital sales experience within the medical device industry; specifically selling to a critical care audience. Formal professional sales training (i.e. Miller Heiman, etc.) is preferred. Demonstrated track record of territory growth. Strong hospital experience or knowledge or relationships within the NY metro and South Jersey critical care segment. Demonstrated ability to call on multiple acute-care call points and departments; influencing key decision makers or influencers within the facility. Exceptional communication skills including leadership, collaboration and ability to communicate with management, peer groups and customers. Must have on-call availability after-hours, weekends and holidays as required. Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record required.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in a related discipline (e.g. life sciences, marketing, or business) is required.
