What you'll be doing

The account manager is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory and is responsible for personally contacting and securing new business accounts/customers. The ideal candidate achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and related services. Must bring in a minimum million dollar booked sales from assigned territory. Develops and implements a plan of action to attract and retain customers in the assigned market area. Must reach monthly metrics such as telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations (to existing and prospective customers). Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers. Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.

What your background should be

Experience in the education sector and/or training and managed learning services. Seasoned sales person with proven record of generating corporate and government revenue. Goal oriented approach, to reach and exceed monthly/yearly quotas. High level of energy and self-motivation. Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
