What you'll be doing

Assists with the planning, and preparation of general accounting processes of the organization. Prepares general ledger entries in conjunction with monthly closing processes and reconciles general ledger accounts. Performs analytical/departmental analysis as required or requested. Assists with the development and administration of the organization annual budget. Serves as an interdepartmental liaison. Works with internal and external auditors to prepare for and facilitate audits. Ensures departmental and organizational compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies and applicable laws and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Minimum one year of experience in an accounting environment using accounting applications preferred. Lawson experience preferred. Strong PC and communication skills. This job requires some physical demands.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in accounting or finance required.
