What you'll be doing
- Research and process paper and electronic data interchange invoices daily; research and resolve invoice discrepancies daily. Work with manufacturing plants/vendors as needed. Resolve unit of measure issues and be proactive in resolving future issues. Balance ledger accounts with minimal supervision. Manage mail, telephone calls and e-mail in a timely manner, including shared mailbox correspondence. Meet deadlines for processing invoices. Promote teamwork and be willing to help out others in the department as needed. Perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
What your background should be
- Accounting skills and account balancing experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information. Ability to learn to use manufacturing systems and become proficient. Excellent problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Demonstrate sound business judgment and the ability to work successfully with all levels of associates, backgrounds, and perspectives.
