What you'll be doing
- The Accounting Manager will assist in reconsidering and verifying monthly financial statements and commentaries; in preparing budget schedules; preparing general and administrative budgets, including General Manager and Operations Managers as needed. The ideal candidate will accomplish and comply with internal accounting controls in accordance with the Corporate Controller Policies and procedures. The qualified applicant will be answerable for supervising the implementation of the rate order, which includes working with IT personnel to design, check and examine new structures in the system, and preparation of periodic reports to the City. The incumbent will also execute the month-end close process, involving the preparation and re-consider of journal records.
What your background should be
- 5 or more years of experience
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
