What you'll be doing
- The Accounts Payable Accountant will be chargeable for assisting the accounting department in processing invoices for timely payment, filing documents and invoices. Accounts Payable Specialist will be expected for checking and verifying account payable records, accounting of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, filing, posting ledger and general journal entries, and/or balancing accounts payable. In addition, the qualified applicant will respond inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information. It is the duty of the Accounts Payable Accountant to review vendor invoices for payment, resolve vendor inquiries timely, and maintain the payment process flow.
What your background should be
- 1-2 years of accounts payable experience
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor's degree
