What you'll be doing

Administrative Assistant provides varied, complex and confidential administrative support to administrators; provides liaison between the company and the media, other department heads, government officials and community groups. Assistance to high-level staff; coordinating supervisors activities and schedules; maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information; using tact, discretion, initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines; using computers and related software applications; using general office equipment such as phones, copiers and facsimiles; contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team/work unit goals, objectives and activities; communicating effectively in both oral and written forms; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties; efficient, effective and safe use of equipment.

What your background should be

Four years of secretarial experience which has included providing administrative support to management staff. Required Notary Public Certification. Ability to provide exceptional customer service and work with physicians and other key medical personnel. Ability to multi-task, working on multiple projects and be very detailed. Must be able to demonstrate ability to take and prepare meeting minutes. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Two years of college level course work in business, management, or a closely related field.
