What you'll be doing
- All the candidates for the Admitting Clerk position should be ready to interview medical centre residents, their families and relatives or cope with the other tasks in order to identify and receive financial information. Besides that, the Admitting Clerk will be required to perform financial arrangements for the whole scope of the required accounts.
What your background should be
- Basic requirements regarding the Admitting Clerk role: A. Educational level: General education certificate is a must. B. Professional experience: One year (as minimum) of previous experience in a hospital or any other related medical area. The incumbent is required to possess efficient knowledge of all office procedures, including awareness of medical terminology, excellent telephone communications skills, ability to meet the insurance requirements. The expert will need to be able to respond to all emergency registrations, demonstrating brilliant communication skills. C. Language Skills: Ability to generate everyday reports, to speak effectively and to read and interpret documents such as maintenance and operating instructions, safety rules and procedure manuals. D. Reasoning Abilities: Ability to quickly identify problems, establish facts, collect data and draw the most appropriate conclusions. E. Math Skills: Ability to use various concepts (percentages, fractions, proportions and ratios) in the practical situations.
