Aerospace Value Stream Manager

What you'll be doing: Own all value stream results including some of the following: sales, dock, variable cost/earned standard hour, productivity, on-time delivery and scrap. Lead the value stream in daily operations and continuous improvements. Emphasize the creation of continuous product flow, utilizing pull systems where flow is not currently possible, and works to level the load. Analyze, establish, and communicate performance standards to all value stream members. Analyze variable labor costs daily, determines required staffing levels and works with production coordinators to re-allocate labor as required. Create the basis for continuous improvement and employee engagement by coordinating the employee suggestion program for the value stream area. Implement and coordinate cross training of all focus factory employees to insure the elimination of all skill gaps, resulting in a more skilled and adaptable workforce. Compile with all environmental safe practices and regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

What your background should be: 5+ years supervision/leadership experience. Six sigma certification preferred. Lean 6s, TOC, blueprint reading, manufacturing, finance performance management, analytical problem solving, and strong organizational skills effective verbal and written communication.
