Application Analyst with Video Conferencing

What you'll be doing: The candidate will be responsible to create new workflows and processes that meet the clinical needs of the internal and external services being offered by the program. S/he will train clinicians and administrative staff on such workflows, video conferencing technology use, consisting, for example, of vidyo, polycom, or tandberg endpoints, the telestroke/health portal and image transfer platforms. S/he will also troubleshoot technical difficulties with patients, physicians and client hospitals. The applicant will spearhead the deployment of program required technologies and related processes at client hospitals receiving consulting services and educational licenses from the teleneurology/health program. S/he will support broadcasts of video conference based staff meetings, conferences and educational sessions. The successful candidate will visit client sites as needed during technology explorations, deployments or troubleshooting. What your background should be: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to repair/replace parts as needed. Video-conferencing experience in a healthcare environment highly desired. Some familiarity with audio-visual, collaborative tools, and imaging technology desired. Strong internet, networking, and data knowledge. Ideally, knowledge and experience in designing and installing integrated video conference build outs with competency in programming touch panel controllers and other equipment (such as remote cameras). Ability to develop/maintain commercial websites and implement web design specifications.
