What you'll be doing
- The application development project manager is accountable for all component design, infrastructure, development and unit test deliverables that produced by internal and external delivery partners. The candidate is accountable for planning, orchestrating, and delivering quality code of the highest caliber to the quality assurance (qa) team for system and user acceptance testing. Plan for development resources required through all phases of the sdlc including activities including defect fixes during qa phases, implementation activities, and warranty support post go-live. Direct large-scale, complex delivery work-streams; often involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners. Define and track delivery milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan. Represent the internal and external delivery teams in various project governance and inter-department forums; briefing key stakeholders on status, risks, and issues pertaining to infrastructure, component design and development. Propose recommendations and adjustments to project delivery and related solutions throughout the life of the program. Oversee, work towards consensus, and drive resolution of analysis and key decision-making concerning infrastructure, component design and development; including risk mitigation and issue resolution. Support the change management process through assessment of proposed changes and impact to infrastructure, component design and development activities and deliverables. S/he will manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of delivery processes, procedures, and metrics utilized within the delivery teams to ensure consistency of processes across all work-streams within the program.
