What you'll be doing

This function is predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. Develop pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends. Contribute to development team and help to achieve key business objectives. Contribute to large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives. Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decision-making. Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams. Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business. Translate highly complex concepts in ways that understood by a variety of audiences. Requirement gathering, functional analysis, design, and system configuration. Central knowledge source on PeopleSoft, Jive, and ASP applications. Liaison between customer base, HR operations and human capital systems. Customer support; using the application efficiently, troubleshooting and communications. Coordinate all levels of system and user testing and acceptance. Provide application integration knowledge among the various applications (ex. Outlook, Internet Explorer, internal applications, etc). Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, etc. Implementing the new features and business processes identified during the requirements gathering process as the lead SME. Ongoing business process standardization and re-engineering. Collaborate with technical architecture group for infrastructure related changes. Works with less structured, more complex issues and serves as a resource to others.

What your background should be

This position required 2+ years of Software development analyst experience, 2+ years of experience working in the different phases of development with SDLC, 2+ years of experience with data gathering/analysis for writing system requirements and 1+ year of Analysis experience to include the writing of test plans and test cases. Experience with Jive, Yammer or other business social media tools. Experience with PeopleSoft, Site core, Oracle database or related relational database technology, MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access), MS Visio. Healthcare knowledge and experience. MS SQL server management studio experience.

Bachelor Degree required
