What you'll be doing

Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates; establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Participates in the long-term strategic planning process. Develops and establishes operational policies within area managed. Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have broader impact. Participates in the development of overall functional objectives and company goals. Involves a high degree of interpretation and analysis of obscure or inconclusive data. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational and project objectives. Analyzes recommendations made by others to solve issues. Interacts with management on matters concerning functional areas, multiple regions, and customers. Exercises latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Performs other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Five years of management experience and ten years of related insurance or health care industry experience. Sound business acumen required. CPA, CGMA, CMA, or similar credential required. Insurance industry experience preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Four years of degree in accounting/finance with audit or equivalent.
