What you'll be doing
- Perform comprehensive analysis on potential and existing primary partnership-fund investment opportunity. This will include reviewing offering memoranda for new fund coming to market, conducting due diligence meeting with buyout, distressed debt, mezzanine and venture capital manager, performing reference check with portfolio company executive. Work extensively with financial model and evaluating overall performance by examining underlying portfolio investment. Play an integral role in monitoring the firm investment in a broad variety of private equity fund manager. Interact with fund manager and attendance at the annual meeting of various private equity firms. Support limited partner through involvement in annual reporting, annual meeting, and responding to client request.
What your background should be
- Two to three years of investment banking, consulting, or institutional limited partner experience. Must have problem solving and quantitative skills, superb written and oral communication skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- BS/BA or equivalent. MBA preferred.
