What your background should be
- This individual will be a fellow of the society of actuaries (FSA) and a member of the American academy of actuaries (MAAA). 7+ years of progressively more responsible actuarial experience with life and products. Proven ability working on ad-hoc projects with ambiguous goals. Experience with business planning, stress testing and experience studies. Experience with ALM and ERM. Demonstrated success working in cross-functional collaborative teams and in working with senior management. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and data base software. General actuarial competency related to pricing, valuation (economic, GAAP, and statutory), and modeling of life and products. Strong oral and written communication skills. Highly motivated and results-oriented. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently.
