Associate of AML Data Management Operations

What you'll be doing: The team will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the data issues within the key AML functions and determining what services data management can provide to support each functions data needs. The team will partner with LOB operations, technology and other AML teams to provide ongoing support to identify and resolve data issues, institute data standards, perform data validations, completeness and reconciliations, provide exception management, consistent data dictionary, ongoing change management and data governance. Understand how the source feed data is utilized in the AML environment and the impact it has on various functions and teams within and outside of the compliance organization. Work with LOB and technology contacts responsible for source feeds to determine root cause of data issues, obtain corrected data, and determine action plan to correct issue going forward. Perform data analysis to obtain details on data issue (source data coming in, characteristics of problem, repeat issue, etc.) prior to engaging LOB owners. Lead the resolution of exceptions identified by reconciliation, completeness checks, data attribute validation, fluctuation (spike) monitoring and timeliness. Track all data quality issues and provide feedback into recurring metrics process.

What your background should be: Minimum 3 to 5+ years of operations experience, preferably with a background in anti-money laundering. Ability to write concise, accurate, business documents. Demonstrated superior problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to identify issues, seek solutions and gain consensus regarding outcome. Strong analytical skills; ability to build relationships with a diverse group of both technical and nontechnical resources; ability to balance strategic objectives with the need to make interim tactical choices in order to sustain progress. Experience in creating test strategies, executing test plans and documenting results. Excellent communication, presentation, influence, and relationship building skills.
