What you'll be doing

Bakery Team Leader is responsible for P&L, achieving sales, labor and margin plans for the department. Reviewing sales goals, supply costs, stock loss, shrink results and goals. Ensuring the team is properly hired, staffed and thoroughly trained in all aspects of their jobs and have completed all required training. Promoting succession planning by providing career paths and identifying development needs for the team. Responsibility for operations, merchandising profitability, processes and overall conditions of the entire bakery department. Modeling exceptional, fast and friendly customer service. Communicating the company friendly initiative in all team meetings and conversations. Reviewing customer survey and customer feedback from previous day or week. Following all food safety policies and practices. Proper usage of production planner and promoting a safe work environment. Consistent and reliable attendance required. Other daily tasks as required.

What your background should be

Minimum 2 to 3 years of related retail experience and 1 year of management experience. Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Demonstrated ability to prioritize time and manage the time for others, visually examine products for quality and freshness, answer customer questions in a clear and service oriented manner and conduct suggestive selling. Demonstrated ability to work safely. ServSafe certification.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or its equivalent required.
