What you'll be doing

Develop and implement lesson plan that fulfill requirement of the district curriculum program and reflect accommodation for difference in student learning style and show written evidence of preparation as required. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategy, activity, material and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning style and need of student assigned. Establish and maintain efficient classroom management procedure and standard of pupil behavior. Provide a variety of planned learning experience using a variety of media and method in order to motivate student and best utilize available time for instruction. Plan and coordinate the work of aide and other paraprofessional and student teacher. Perform all other task and duties as assigned.

What your background should be

One year of student teaching or approved internship; fluency in language of instruction. Valid texas teaching certification with required endorsement for subject and subject level assigned. Demonstrated flexibility to cope with the challenge of a rapidly changing world. Demonstrated general knowledge of curriculum and instruction.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree from an accredited university.
