What you'll be doing

Strategically analyze the permanent hair color segments strengths and opportunities vs. competition; develop 360 marketing strategy to address opportunities for growth. Managing product launches from A to Z (forecasting stocks, working closely with education, developing marketing story & materials, monitoring innovation success). Coordinating roll-out of innovation to distribution and direct markets. Develop high impact in-store merchandising and shelving for distributors. The brand manager should have demonstrated strength of the marketing environment of the professional color hair care industry, the roles and responsibilities of the department along with a strategic knowledge of the business, the growth opportunities for the brand globally, and the ways and means to achieve them. Work with local and global education team to develop and execute workbooks, color courses and insure consistent messaging throughout education and sales. Regular contact with sales force, including presenting promotions and innovation.

What your background should be

A minimum 5 years of experience in brand management or product marketing of professional hair care. Solid experience in hair color and professional hair care is a must. Experience in directing new product launches. Experience in development of broad marketing plan. Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills and strong negotiating abilities. Self-motivated, adaptable and a fast learner.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree highly preferred.
