What you'll be doing

Have responsibility for the delivery and maintenance of category product data. Responsible for day to day efforts driving the scope of the program for their assigned categories. Meet the planned target dates for each merchandise category. Contact vendors and field reps to obtain the product data needed. Maintain a thorough understanding of available data elements, their organizational structure, and the technical infrastructure within which they reside to complete the scope of data improvement for each assigned category. Collaborate with category management to maintain the quality of the data after the initial improvement process is complete. Identify patterns and trends in data to create recommendations for category management.

What your background should be

2 years relevant business experience preferred. Foodservice, food retailing, or food manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once. Advanced problem solving and analytical skills. Presentation and meeting management/facilitation skills. Highly organized, detail oriented, and creative problem solver. Proficiency with discoverer or other similar ad-hoc query/reporting tool to pull data from the data warehouse as input for category analysis. Proficient in PowerPoint with an ability to create presentations for managers and directors. Advanced proficiency in Excel with an ability to create vlookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and multiple sort levels. Ability to manipulate data, draw conclusions, and communicate findings.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in a business or analytical field
