What you'll be doing

Analysis and design of forward-thinking solutions for interoperability of applications/systems. Work with internal and external customers to identify HIM-specific product requirements. Create detailed process flow diagrams and gain understanding of workflows. Review and provide input on product specific end-user documentation. Provide domain guidance to internal project team members, as necessary. Provide product training to internal team members and customers, as necessary. Communicate status of projects to HIM product manager and other internal stakeholders. Take complete ownership of assigned HIM modules, but also expected to provide assistance outside of assigned domain. Work collaboratively with and provides domain expertise and context to developers, QA and product management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product requirements and interdependency as well as resolve issues involving other liberty service lines and applications. Other responsibilities, as necessary.

What your background should be

Candidate must possess 2+ years of HIM experience in an acute care setting. RHIT/RHIA or other AHIMA credential is a plus. Experience with document management, release of information, deficiency management, abstracting/coding, or CDI processes are required. Experience with software implementation in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of training and work experience is required.
