What you'll be doing
- Provide operational support and coordinate with the living disaster recovery planning system (LDRPS) vendor to perform software modifications and system maintenance. Analyze contingency plans, input these plans into LDRPS, and develop the necessary reports in LDRPS. Provide a LDRPS refresher briefing once a year to all staff, a briefing for new employees, and individual training sessions upon request. Develop training to instruct staff on how to create a continuity plan for the client site or business line. Conduct the analysis of the current contingency planning program by examining the enterprise's mission essential functions, existing COOP plans, continuity tools, and response structure. Information updates to the enterprise-wide policy and site continuity plans and the business line continuity plans. Aid in analyzing, updating,and maintaining the client enterprise policy and site specific contingency and emergency response plans and ensure these plans correlate with departmental, DoD,and federal guidelines.
What your background should be
- 3+ years of experience with the delivery of a cohesive business continuity program to DoD, federal government, or similarly sized private financial sector clients with multiple locations. Experience with support of business continuity planning, emergency management, or other closely related fields, including training. Ability to conduct analysis of a contingency planning program
Required Schooling / Training
- BA or BS degree
