What you'll be doing
- The responsibilities and duties include development and management of new business resources budgets in accordance with next generation customer needs and associated technology/product roadmaps. Identifying, qualifying and developing capture strategies in support of solutions and programs for the domestic markets. Customer and partner interface-primary interface with prime and government customers in coordination with platform and product directors and opportunity identification, development and qualification of bookings pipeline. Must successfully communicate with all levels of the organization including President, VPs, management and individual contributor levels and must interface with external customers and prime contractors at senior levels. Builds (develops, trains, nurtures, grows) and leads team capable of supporting the interface to key accounts and customers, developing strategic plans and go-to-market strategies, and capturing major pursuits.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 16 years of related working experience required. Must have product knowledge resulting understanding both technical and system complexity of customer systems interfaces. Must have outstanding written and oral communication skills. Former supervision of a business development team with direct reports.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree
