What you'll be doing

Directly supports a business unit and ensures activities are aligned with business unit goals and strategies. Identifies potential issues, project changes and scope data. Leads efforts to identify best practices. Identifies impacted parties, business partners and resources required. Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs. Designs methods for integrating functions and processes. Conducts cost or benefit analysis. Builds support for business change throughout the business unit. Provides process, project and change management methodology coaching or consulting support to business unit and client driven initiatives. Leads the project prioritization and scheduling activities for the business unit. Provides expertise to the business areas in culture or change management activities. Provides expertise in process planning activities. Supports the execution of the operating plan. Leads transition management activities ensuring business as usual is maintained during the transition and changes are effectively integrated into the business. Collaborates with subject. Examines policy issues and strategic planning with a long term as well as short term perspective. Determines objectives and sets priorities; anticipates potential threats or opportunities and vets them within the organization and with the client as appropriate. Develops strategies, objectives and direction for both own direct reporting organization as well as client organizations. Proactively engages client leaders and matrix partners to actualize change initiatives. Develops or encourages new ideas or approaches. Establishes procedures and practices which promote the adoption of appropriate solutions and sustainability of desired results in highly complex environments. Uses efficient and cost effective approaches to integrate technology into the workplace and improve program effectiveness. Develops strategies using new technology to enhance decision making. Ensures that effective controls are developed and maintained to ensure the integrity of the organization. Takes corrective action, as appropriate. Monitors and evaluates highly complex plans; focuses on results and measuring attainment of outcomes. Others duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum 3 years experience of health management knowledge. Minimum 5 years experience managing mid to large scale operations or project initiatives including: knowledge of planning models and methodology, business related, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution). Six Sigma certification preferred knowledge of process management or improvement, methodologies. Preferred state medicaid program knowledge or experience.

Required Schooling / Training

BA or BS degree in a related field required. Master degree preferred.
