What you'll be doing

The job holder is responsible for formulating and defining system's scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of the application, business, operational and/or industry requirements. S/he develops business requirements and functional specifications for medium to large sized projects. S/he performs these functions independently and often guides and advises lesser experienced business systems analysts. S/he works with internal business groups on process improvement projects and is involved in testing, training and implementing of applications and/or systems, often leading these efforts.

What your background should be

Minimum 5 years experience required. Job holder must have extensive experience with specific methods, tools and techniques for clearly defining and documenting client needs and associated requirements. S/he must be able to analyze client requirements, monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks and keep projects on track. S/he must also have prior lead experience producing detail-level functional or operational requirement documentation and conducting inspections of required documents and quality reviews. Job holder must have in-depth knowledge of the major functions and features of workflow analysis tools and the organization's experiences with work flow analysis and design.
