What you'll be doing

The organization is seeking a buyer to join its auxiliary and facilities procurement teams. Specifically, the ideal candidate will assist in providing customer service to auxiliary services staff. Act as a bid official for capital and non-capital equipment and supply purchases, including supplier selection, pre-bid and proposal conferences, proposal analysis, contract award recommendations, and contract writing. Source and contract for a diverse group of products and services related to student housing, hospitality and transportation services. Deliver excellent customer service. Use information systems to input and analyze data, perform research or to generate reports. Assist in the promotion of department services or product promotions.

What your background should be

Minimum 2 years of experience in related field is required. May oversee student, temporary and casual workers. Excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as organizational, analytical, written, and presentation skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint application.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree.
