Cable Technician

What you'll be doing: The company is currently seeking for a cable technician. Cable technician is a professional position that performs the installation, modification, repair and maintenance of voice, video and data cabling systems. The technician also surveys installations areas to determine work methods, tools, materials, etc. The technician is responsible for making independent judgments and adhering to proper installation guidelines. In addition to installation the technician will install equipment and be involved in some facets of configuration and deployment. Maintain and reference industry standards including ANSI, EIA/TIA, and local and low voltage code. Attend training and safety meetings. Work safely at all times utilizing the necessary personal protection equipment. Perform other duties as assigned by management if required.

What your background should be: Minimum 2 years of experience in related field. Ability to work with a team. Outstanding communication skills is a must. Proficiency in computer literacy. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft suits (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
