What you'll be doing
- Operate a cash register including cash transaction, check, and charge. Follow company policy and procedure regarding cash register performance. Request additional help when needed to increase customer satisfaction. Greet customers using the eye and help at all time and assist customer with question, problem and complaint. Price merchandise utilizing price gun. Answer the telephone using the appropriate greeting. Process photofinishing order. React to potential shoplifter following company guideline. Display and sign weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise. Assist pharmacy personnel when needed. Assist customer with large purchase.
What your background should be
- One-year experience in handling money desired. Previous retail experience preferred. Math proficiency, strong work ethic is required. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, guest-friendly demeanor skills is needed. Neat, clean, and professional appearance must be needed. Exhibit a sense of urgency, honesty above reproach is needed.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
