What you'll be doing

The client company is currently looking for a category manager for international graduate trainee program (igtp) with the potential to become a future leader or expert within global procurement organization. The candidate is responsible for supplier selection, contracting and supplier performance management within own responsibility area. The applicant will follow the nsn supplier base, management process through using the supplier lifecycle. The incumbent typically is responsible of a defined set of products and/or services. This program is the 18 months program, consist of several parts initial induction in destination department to target position 6 months, temporary assignment to key interface organization (including some time abroad) 6 months. S/he will assign to target position in destination department and taking over business accountability 6 months. Take part of a journey being one in a group of 10 trainees coming from key locations all over the world. During these 18 months, candidate will meet regularly in different international places working together as a team on interesting tasks across the respective business areas. The role will take the lead in challenging projects in destination department as well as in the key interface organization. During the whole program, an experienced mentor will guide the candidate as a contact person and consults him/her personally and professionally.

What your background should be

The candidate with fluency in english required, a second language might be an advantage. No specific work experience required. Short work experience or trainee period is a plus. The incumbent should have eager to learn and to take new responsibilities. S/he should be an innovative and open mindset, team player having winning together mindset. The applicant should be able to relocate into other country during the program for a minimum of 1 month. S/he should have strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills. This position should have the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people and cultures throughout the company whilst respecting diversity.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree or master degree (master degree preferred)
