CBG Loan Document Review Supervisor

What you'll be doing
- Assigns new loan transactions and supervises the activities of assigned document reviewers in the daily operational functions of the CBG loan document review department. Coordinates document review workflow, providing assistance and guidance as needed to ensure all document and boarding review processes completed to company standards and within the established service level agreements. Responsible for training assigned document reviewers to build skills and ensure relevant knowledge of all commercial banking group commercial lending deal types. Assists the CBG document review manager in performance evaluations, performance management, and staffing requirements. Ensures quality of loan documents and due diligence are within all compliance and regulatory guidelines to meet internal and external audit requirements. Reviews and approves complex documentation, due diligence and boarding packages that requires higher level of expertise than the document reviewer does. Ensures document reviewers are informed of new bank policies/procedures, service level agreements, regulatory and compliance changes.
What your background should be
- The candidate 8 to 12 years of experience in commercial loan documentation, loan operations, or lending is required. One to three years of supervisory/managerial experience required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills. Expertise in rules, regulations, and policies concerning banking services, particularly with commercial lending and related documentation. Deep understanding of types of borrowing entities; organizational and entity documents; commercial loan processing/credit administration procedures, the organization, the industry and regulations; real estate requirements in all states where company is doing business. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or GED required. Associate/bachelor degree preferred.
