The client company is currently looking for a certified nursing assistant (CNA). This successful position is responsible to perform clerical and patient care functions in compliance with hospital policies and procedures. The candidate is also responsible for informing the RN of patient activities and changes in condition. The incumbent will routinely perform heel sticks for laboratory specimens. Is accountable for maintaining and improving own job knowledge and skills. Support the mission, goals, and objectives of the hospital. Maintain stocking supplies and perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
At least, 1 year of current CNA experience in a hospital or nursing home setting. Certification as a nurse assistant in the state of Texas required. Current BCLS certification from the American heart association required. Must have good communication skills.
