Client Billing Associate

What you'll be doing
- Accurate and timely billing of services and fees to facility clients. Review and reconcile billing statements with facility financial plans. Work with responsible parties, receiving in/ outbound calls, providing customer service through explaining why they are being billed. Work with client billing manager/ supervisor in researching accounts requiring special attention, and on special projects as needed. Perform other tasks as assigned. Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the companys policies and procedures, corporate compliance agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
What your background should be
- At least 1 year billing and/or collections experience (third party billing experience in the healthcare industry, AS400 computer experience preferred). 10 Key by touch, data entry, MS Excel and Word and basic computer knowledge (medical billing and coding preferred). Communication, problem solving, detail orientation and teamwork.
Required Schooling / Training
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
