CNA Home Health Aide

What you'll be doing: The incumbent of this position will serve as a CNA home health aide, the ideal candidate will support patients by providing housekeeping and laundry services; shopping for food and other household requirements; preparing and serving meals and snacks; running errands. S/he will assist patients by providing personal services, such as bathing, dressing, transferring and grooming. The applicant will maintain a safe, secure, and the healthy patient environment by following standards and procedures; maintaining security precautions; following prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards; s/he will update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. The individual will protect the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. This position will enhance service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. The candidate will perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be: 1 year of hands on work experience preferred (can include experience in a home care, hospital, or assisted living setting). Certified CNA and current CPR certification are required. A valid driving license required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.
