What you'll be doing

Plan and direct development and communication of information design to keep the public informed of DCI program, accomplishment, or point of view. Working with both internal and external parties, prepare and distribute fact sheet, new release, photograph, script, motion picture, or tape recording to media representative and other person who may be interested in learning about or publicizing DCI activities or message. Arrange for and conduct public contact program to provide chronic kidney disease education through speech, exhibit, film, tour, and question and answer session. Work with legal, operation, and executive committee to provide an appropriate, measured, and positive response to inquiries related to company or industry news. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum one-year of experience in marketing, public relations, or related field is required. Prior healthcare experience is preferred. Working knowledge of Adobe creative suite, in design, illustrator, and Photoshop, strongly desired. Excellent computer skill desired. Oral communication speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situation; listen and get clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree required. Bachelor degree in communications, marketing, or related field preferred.
