Community Banking Business Relationship Manager

What you'll be doing
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals through outside sales and managing existing customer relationships. Contributes to the profitability and growth of community banking by building, developing, and managing new and expanded client relationships with small business customers. Sources prospects and develops new customer relationships by selling appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients and identifying and successfully capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities and making appropriate referrals. Manages loan and portfolio credit quality. Partners with branch personnel and management team within defined market to prospect appropriate customer base. Approximately 65-70% of the business banking relationship manager's time is spent on outside sales activities.
What your background should be
- One to three years of experience in relationship management banking. Well-developed relationship management and business development/sales skills. Basic knowledge of credit and credit quality. Basic knowledge of bank products and services. Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships. Effective presentation, verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrated understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis.
