What you'll be doing

Perform a supporting role for the Orlando technical security operations. The candidate shall be knowledgeable of the chapter 8 of the national industrial security program-operating manual. Promote daily contact with program management, engineering staff, the Orlando technical security manager, and other security and program personnel to resolve technical security related issues. Utilize experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of computer security plans as well as the documentation, and presentation of the security education program to ensure facility compliance with requirements for is security. Coordinate with other security disciplines to ensure all classified computing assets are properly accredited. Support a team environment, to effectively interface and communicate with numerous cognizant security agencies and customers, taking direction from more senior analysts and management. Secure computer operations and how configured to meet various government requirements for classified operations. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Ability to author security plans, maintain accreditations, ability to perform technical certifications for various operating systems (i.e. Windows, Linux and UNIX). Current verifiable certification that meets or exceeds the DoD directive 8570.1, information assurance training, certification, and workforce management, requirements. (i.e. Network +, Security +, CISSP or other approved certification). Previous experience as an information system security officer (ISSO) and/or information assurance officer (IAO) with experience various delegating approving authorities desired. Knowledge of JAFAN, DCID, NISPOM, and other DoD compliance regulations desired. Video teleconference equipment support experience, network encryption device experience, security certifications desired.
