What you'll be doing
- Provide assistance to consumers seeking health care coverage including providing information on financial assistance program and public health care program. Process application for health care coverage via the telephone including building tax household, household income, eligibility determination, and interpretation. Process enrollment into qualified health plan, plan change, and disenrollment. Processing of life event and special enrollment period. Assist broker and navigator with inquiry and eligibility and enrollment issues as appropriate. Access, read, and interpret data element and system to provide support, resolve inquires, and educate caller. Provide assistance to consumer seeking health care coverage including providing information on financial assistance program and public health care program.
What your background should be
- Two years of experience in a health or human service field dealing with the public in a contact center environment. Proficiency in using computer system including but not limited to web based system. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skill. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast paced, deadline oriented work environment. Ability to successfully execute many complex task simultaneously. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
Required Schooling / Training
- Associates or bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
