What you'll be doing

Partner with the company's continuous improvement team manager to provide tools, skills and best practices for the partners that inspire new ways of working more efficiently. Be an active and visible coach for the company in helping them fulfill the role as change sponsors. Support the development of a tool-box of accessible tools and techniques as a self-serve online resource to share with all those interested in the company. Identify and prioritize industry standards and new opportunities that are appropriate to incorporate into the company best practices. Define appropriate ways to measure results (i.e. uptake, adoption). Ensure consistent communication regarding trainings, events and overall learnings to the company as applicable. Maintain awareness of best practice business process for merchandising systems balancing both the art and science (i.e., technology and how to do business). Contribute to and facilitate process improvement events and retrospectives that produce quick wins and foster a try, learn, evolve mindset. Partner with the merchant leadership, MSO and technology to ensure outcomes align with priorities and direction.

What your background should be

Minimum 2 years of retail buying experience, retail planning/inventory management or related experience. Knowledgeable in a desired merchandise category. Ability to comprehend merchandising systems, tools and reports. Strong training and facilitation. Ability to lead and influence others while evolving current processes and practices.
