What you'll be doing

The convenience store manager (trainee) will recruit, interview, select, train, coach, and supervise positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service. The candidate will develop, manage, and assign tasks appropriately to ensure the store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well maintained to company standards. Analyze daily sales, expense information, and take appropriate action to maximize sales and net profits. Budget and forecast profit & loss lines, understand, and manage merchandise margins. S/he will accurately complete daily paperwork, complete fuel pricing strategies, receive and verify vendor deliveries, create and change work schedules as needed, etc. Control inventory and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds from ground to waist (to replenish fountain syrups, ice, etc. When necessary).

What your background should be

A qualified candidate with experience in retail sales preferred. Legally eligible to work in the united states. S/he should have the ability to communicate (orally and writing) in english. Incumbent may be required to work nontraditional shifts and/or schedules based upon business needs.
