What you'll be doing
- The candidate is responsible for all internal and external corporate messages, special projects and companywide initiatives. Act as spokesperson for the company; monitor and facilitate press requests. Interact with board of directors, ceo, coo and other members of the a&f leadership team. Write and edit press releases, quotes and q&a documents. Build and maintain media relationships. Pitch media stories related to company initiatives. Create, execute and manage cause marketing strategy. Prep associates for interviews with the media. Provide competitive analysis reports and industry best practices. Manage the corporate communication budget. Manage relationship with pr agencies. Ensure corporate messages are being effectively used on social media channels. Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- 5 to 7 or more years of experience in marketing and pr, preferably with substantial cause marketing and corporate communication experience. Outstanding written communication and grammatical skills preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree required
