What you'll be doing
- This position is responsible for assisting patients during on-site registration and arrival processes for scheduled and unscheduled visits and insurance verification for walk-in visits as necessary. Under general supervision and following established policies and procedures, completes patient access process for inpatients and outpatients, takes demographic, insurance and medical information, assigns account numbers, ensures managed care requirements are met and complies with regulatory guidelines.
What your background should be
- At least 3 to 12 months experience. Must type 45 wpm, medical terminology preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- High School diploma
