Custodian

What you'll be doing: Clean 2,500 sq. Ft minimum within an hour time. With goal of 3500 sq. Ft per hour after one year. Move from one task the other without prompting. Clean restroom, toilets, sinks floors, urinals, and mirrors, fixtures, using toilet brush, sponge, and disinfectants and cleaning solutions. Spot clean doors, partitions, walls, windows and all horizontal surfaces. Restock paper supplies and empty trash to designated location. Clean floors, vacuum daily if carpeted and shampoo as specified in contract. Other surfaces sweep and mop daily, strip, wax, and buff as specified in contract. Compile with all safety rules, standards and regulations. Mix chemical solutions in safe and efficient manner. Meet attendance and punctuality requirements. Meet goals and fulfills responsibilities. Demonstrates ethics and complies with corporate compliance program.

What your background should be: Preferred experience in janitorial or general cleaning. Additional experience may substitute for required experience at the rate of one year of the specified experience for the year of education. Working knowledge of cleaning methods and minor repair equipment used in janitorial work. Operate a variety of buffing machines. Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs. Must be able to clean 2,500 sq.ft. Within an hours time. All other duties as assigned. Due to contract documentation of a disability is required.
