Customer Service Representative

What you'll be doing
- Take orders from customers over the phone and enter into JDE or Mapics. Respond to customer inquiries regarding inventory, order status, and pricing. Perform tracers and PODs on outbound shipments. Release orders to warehouse for shipment. Authorize routine credits, debits, and customer returns. Perform outbound calls to correct problems and verify info on customer. Perform outbound telemarketing calls for moving closeouts and obsoletes. Suggest up-sell products to customers. Maintain customer files. Perform all other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum 1-2 years of customer service related work desired. Good typing skills required. Ms Word or MS Excel knowledge a plus. Good problem solving abilities required. Good communication skills both oral and written required. Proven ability to work with confidential pricing and new products. Bilingual ability in Spanish/English is a plus.
